Social media has been going for a while now – for enough time to collect and collate data about its effects on the individual and society. As it turns out, the negative effects. There are stories ad stats almost every week about social media making people, sad, stressed or depressed. That people obsess and become antisocial. There’s cyber bullying and petty bickering that provokes anxiety as well as fury.
